If they keep the pick this year, then next year the pick goes to Philly if it is outside the top 10, and the 2028 unprotected first goes to the Bruins. However, if next year the pick is in the top 10, the Leafs get to choose who the pick goes to, and then the unprotected 2028 pick goes to the other team.

This only happens if they keep the pick this year. If they give the pick to the Bruins this year, then next year is just a top 10 protected pick to Philly.
