Playoffs Round 1: Battle of Ontario

They would be eligible, yeah. Winnipeg just called up their top prospect Brayden Yager after his WHL team was eliminated.
That's what brought it to my mind...thanks.

For those not paying attention Danford (Oshawa Generals) and Cowan (London Knights) are about to have an OHL finals rematch after both teams swept their conference finals series.

Cowan is 3rd in OHL playoff scoring with 8G 19A 27P in 12 games (Knights has gone 12-0 so far in the playoffs)
Danford is 20th in OHL defenseman scoring with 2G 3A 5P in 16 games

What are the unofficial betting odds looking like for this one? Another easy London win like last year?

I would guess that would be low compared to other playoff teams. Trev has done a great job. Dubas' D was always awful. OEL/Tanev/McCabe have all jumped over Reilly. Reilly/Carlo didn't play the last 4.5 minutes.

FLA has 5 players that they drafted...that's interesting.

Oshawa did got 1-0-1 against London this year (that was the game Easton Cowan got injured when he collided with a player near centre ice in December). London upgraded their goaltender after that though. It's probably going to be another easy win series but I do think that Oshawa will win a game.
