Krug to STL [7 years, 6.5M AAV)

It is so absolutely bizarre to me that St. Lou has this much money to spend on Faulk and Krug, but is willing to let Pieterangelo walk.

Faulk was their mistake. Krug is too much term and money. St Louis got weaker.

That doesn't seem overly prudent. Why move on from Krug for nothing and not resign him even though they have the space and he needs to be replaced. I don't get that.
