SCF: Vegas Golden Knights vs. Carolina Hurricanes

Gary Bettman wet dream SCF.
It does boost their paid attendance, merchandising, revenues and ratings in those markets and underscores the parity in the league...
That is not a bad thing for the NHL.
Hopefully, the Leafs turn comes soon to rejuvenate that market as it is showing signs of need.

Jeremy Lauzon has apparently been practicing with Vegas since Friday and looks like he'll be ready to return soon.
By TOI, since acquiring Rasmus Andersson, Lauzon is Vegas' #5 dman.
He's their top hitter on the backend. Blocks shots.

The notable thing is, when Lauzon returns, both sides will be injury free in terms of players missing games.
I'm not positive but that seems unusual. Can't recall when both teams are healthy.

Naturally, after three rounds, many players are banged up some.

It's the eve of the Stanely Cup Finals and multiple NHL GMs are talking about *checks notes* the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Also it was only like 3 or 4 days ago when McCrimmon found the time in his very busy schedule (way too busy to deal with the Cassidy situation) to go on a Toronto radio show to tell Leafs fans they need to "get over" Marner leaving the team. That goes both ways.

Except, if McCrimmon doesn't do some of the media, he loses a 2nd round pick.

That media asked him about Marner. (they asked him last week and again today)
9:56 "Back to Kevin. Left side, front row. I'm from Toronto, so I'm contractually obliged to ask you about Mitch Marner for either one of you that wants to take the question."

I love how Marner will "tell all" about his "dark times" with the Leafs IF Vegas wins the Cup. So if they lose he'll continue to suffer in silence and not take the opportunity to dunk on his old team. Got it

It never ends with him eh? Waiting for the obligatory reply by CW about how this is obviously fine and normal behaviour.

Marner didn't ask the question or bring it up. The media asked again. If he brought it up himself you'd have a point.
