Long-time Avalanche winger Marek Svatos has passed away aged 34, he leaves behind a wife and young family. No word as to the cause of death at this time. The family lived in Denver.
I was always a fan of the guy because he has insane speed in the NHL video games and he happened to be the same age as me, he was always the first guy I'd trade for. He won many a cup with my EA Leafs dynasty.
