2011 NFL thread

Here are the timeline details:

Monday: Teams can go to 90-man rosters; official free-agent list distributed to teams.
Tuesday: Trading begins. Teams can sign rookies and undrafted free agents at 10 a.m. ET. Teams can negotiate with all free agents and signed players can enter team facilities.
Wednesday: Players can begin reporting to training camps 15 days before their first preseason games.
Thursday: Teams can begin to cut players at 4 p.m. ET.
Friday: Teams can begin to file free-agent signings to the league office at 6 p.m. ET.
 
I really can't remember this many players changing teams in the offseason, obviously the lockout has had something to do with this... but to recap:

- Donovan McNabb traded to the Vikings
- Kevin Kolb traded to the Cardinals
- Reggie Bush traded to the Dolphins
- Albert Haynesworth traded to the Patriots
- Matt Hasselbeck signed with the Titans (and will release Vince Young)
- Tarvaris Jackson & Matt Leinart sign with the Seahawks (they have 5 pretty bad QB's dueling it out now)
- Sidney Rice signs with the Seahawks

Plaxico Burris will apparently sign with either the Steelers or Giants (LOL!).
Kyle Orton will likely be traded by the Broncos to someone... assuming someone wants him.
 
Eagles add Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha over the last couple of days... Frig. It's going to be a looooooooong year for my Cowboys.
 
The guys over at KSK threw up a "What Football Team should I root for" flowchart. I don't know if it's as good as the baseball one I posted earlier but it's worth a laugh or two.

Not sure I agree but hey, as a 'boys fan, I'll take it... I've just got to hang on to to the postives because I think I'm looking at a 8-8 team this year.  :-\
 
Watching the Monday night early game - I still say that overhead camera shot that the NFL has is the finest camera shot in sports (my favourite anyway)
 
The Colts were brutal sans Manning at Quarterback, losing 34-7 to the Houston Texans.  Uggh!!

Ah, sweet Tom Brady!  Throwing for a record 517 yards, riding the Patriots to victory over the befuddled Miami Dolphins.  The Pats are back! (Well, at least it looks like).  GO BRADY!!
 
Buffalo stuns the Patriots winning their 3rd game in a row.  For the second week in a row they have come back from big deficits.
 
I love when the Patriots lose.. no matter who it is too. Good for the Bills and their fans.. Good for football.. that pats lost hahaha

First three receptions of his career too  ;D
