I said it in the last GDT and I'll stick with it: don't touch the Joshua-Roy-McMann line. It's the only thing all season that's worked consistently and provides the closest thing we've had to an identity line in god knows how long.

Somewhat related to this, I couldn't really believe Berube's comments on how the game went (courtsey of MLHS): The first period sucked, the second period sucked, the first half of the 3rd period sucked, the top line sucked aside from 2 shifts. Don't get why you'd sugar-coat any of that.

Well, that was unexpected. Some scattered thoughts: Robertson had a great game. Stop splitting up the Joshua-Roy-McMann line. Time for Domi to sit again.

I think the biggest thing is there just isn't a fit for both him and Robertson in the top-9. Both suspect defensively so shouldn't play on L3. Both ultimately not good enough to play on L1 consistently. Both can't/shouldn't play on the 2nd line at the same time.

Respectfully to him and his family, I was not learning how to spell that name.

I'd swap Laughton with Domi. Laughton deserves more ice-time, and fills the role of the 3rd line obviously significantly better. Or try Laughton on the JT line and put McMann back with the Roy line. Domi might be a mess at C but that should be mitigated by playing against lower end opponents and...
