This franchise has an aversion to promoting home grown players. i get that guys like Quillan Abruzzese, Steeves, etc aren't special players but it would be nice to just try some of these guys for more than 1-2 games

I'd love to say that was a gutsy effort but it was not. They weren't abysmal but horribly outplayed on the shot clock again for large stretches of the game. That was a tolerable effort. This team can't win playing this style. So either fire the GM and rebuild the roster or fire the coach...

The lineup is so bad that the Leafs probably win 5-1 because that's the Leaf thing to do. But honestly, I don't think this is the typical Leafs anymore. I'm glad that Myers is finally getting scratched but honestly a guy like Rielly or Carlo needs a kick in the ass too.
