Wow!  30 year old LW played all 82 games, scored 37 goals and had 136 PIMs.  He signed for less than $5 MIL a year.  Nice signing for the Flyers.  Starts in 2013.

Around $4 MIL cap hit a season for 6 years starting in 2013-2014.  He is only 23 years old, 28 goals last year  and one of the best fighters in his weight class. Great contract in my opinion.

I thought this was interesting.  The kid get 45 shots (!) on him and makes 32 saves.  Niagara fans were classy as they cheered for each save trying to encourage him as a visiting player, the Ice Dog team all went out after the game to pat him on the back and the officials made him 1st star...
