I've been hoping for years that Rielly's game would round out into a stud...he has the size and the speed...but it has not! It's defence by committee this year, so we'll see how that works out, and early returns look good...if it doesn't, I'd bet that Tre looks to address that.

Yep, that's what I was thinking...I know around $1.5m on a 1yr deal isn't financially material to the Leafs, but the insurance thing was just a thought for a guy that many thought might not play again. I'd think they're simply looking at him as a playoff add for $1.5m cost at this point if...
