If they could manage Wright and Jiricek or Spacek by the deadline, I would be ecstatic. I would want other stuff as well, but landing some guys with high end potential, who are close to the NHL would be great.

Well Treliving gave up Marner for Roy so it better be something fantastic.

I would start by trying to get our 1st back from Boston.
What would that take Ekman-Larsson/Domi and Robertson

Leafs need a 2C so 91 can move to 3C. That should be the plan. Roy and his 20pts so far is expendable. If the price is good, leaning on reasonable, you look at moving every one not named Matthews, Nylander, Knies, Cowan, McCabe, Woll, Hildeby.

I like Roy too, but he isn't being used properly right now, and if he nets us a younger similar player, gotta pull the trigger.

When they shorten the bench, they should be pushing Laughton and Roy up to the wings. A run of Roy at 2C with Nylander would've been good to see, as he is evidently really good at chaining and continuing plays with skilled playmakers.
