These dipsticks thought their first strike* would cause Iran to roll over, so they did not plan or prepare anything to protect their local assets, or produce and carry enough ordinance** to truly besiege an opponent that has planned and stockpiled for 40 yrs for this exact situation and hasn’t even used their good stuff yet.

* not to mention making a martyr of a guy who had maybe months left to live from cancer and galvanized further radicalization

** US is apparently rationing its interceptors mostly for their favourite genocidal maniacs, and letting their other allies/forward bases eat shit

Its part of it, but I don't think that's the full rationale, considering his base hates this and anything except for a complete removal of the Islamic theocracy establishment will be considered an utter failure and a huge waste of money. You kind of wonder if he was dragged into/sold this by Bibi.

What frustrates me from that point of view is that it's not like anything was going to happen because of the Epstein files. The files are out there, people have read them. Nothing is happening because of them. The public moves on and there isn't going to be a real punishment for anyone involved in this. Epstein himself is dead, whether he killed himself or someone else did it, the result is the same. His accomplices are being used as human shields, so they are getting off light.

The thing that society has to be aware of as a whole is just how damaging this is to everyone. There is no recourse for someone to get justice, and because of that, it means that justice is a sometimes thing.

When we talk about equity or equality, that should be the first pillar. Everyone needs to be held accountable by the same rules within that society.

Well no it's not the entire rationale. Just follow the money. Quatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia have essentially rented the US Military.
