Game Notes
OTT
-Linus Ullmark will likely start for the sens
TOR
-Anthony Stolarz will likely start for the Leafs
-Toronto did not practice on Wednesday after game 5. That means any line-up changes won't be known until what will be a much anticipated morning skate. Berube has stated that changes are of course being discussed but seemed to indicate that if any happened they wouldn't be major

Two more chances for the Core 5 to deliver. If they can't, all bets are off.

Berube sounded defensive re the Core in the transcript of today's media availability. He can say what he wants, but the pressure is on them to get it done. I'm with MLHS on this: put up or shut up.

I remember talking about how it might be nice for the Leafs to have some more days of rest while watching Florida and Tampa battle it out.

That was a fun thought.

Really? Holmberg on the second line? Surely we could better than that. How about Reaves in. Meyers in and Rielly out. Reinstall the McMann trio (Domi and Robertson) maybe Patches on the second?

I would start Akhtyamov.

16,34,88,91,44 didn't seem too interested in playing hockey last couple games so they can have a seat in the pressbox and insert random Marlies.

No more negativity. I've made peace with the situation and am ok with either outcome.

1) Leafs win the series, hooray - maybe it ignites something in them, plus they get a shot to redeem themselves against the hated Panthers and who knows what could happen (though we all know what will happen)

2) Leafs lose the series, big changes have got to be coming and that will be interesting/entertaining. Plus they further entrench themselves in the all time record book for futility and what can be bad about that.

It's game day. I said my negative stuff yesterday. I'll go right back to the negative stuff if they lose again tonight but until that happens:

Go Leafs Go. Finish this one off and send the home team fans off to bed.
